Nine 2009 National Merit Semi-Finalists!

The Class of 2009 has nine National Merit Semi-finalists. In addition, ten students are named Commended Students.  These nineteen Lake Highland Preparatory School students qualified for the 2009 National Merit Scholarship Program by scoring in the top 5% of more than 1 million students nationwide who entered the competition by taking the 2007 PSAT as eleventh graders. The nine Semifinalists will continue in the 2009 competition for Merit Scholarship awards and the chance to be recognized as a finalist.
